I’m going to be in the 5 Towns area (from out of town) this weekend and wondering what places will be open on Thursday. Looking for something fun to do with little kids. Any ideas?
And I assume restaurants there will be business as usual?

If you have girls, spa-di-da is a new place that opened up and gives haircuts/updos.
Oh Nuts is always a good time 
Also Seasons Express has two branches (Inwood and Woodmere); basically a fully kosher 7-11.
A bit further out in Hewlett is Grant Park which has a nice lake/walking path and a renovated playground.
Non-Jewish holidays are pretty much business as usual here.
Also there is a huge Amazing Savings in Inwood…

Berrylicious ( frozen yogurt a million toppings kids out on themselves) is always a treat for us.
Just be careful not to let them pile it high with too many toppings bec it’s weighed and priced accordingly-speaking from personal experience lol.
