I love buying toddler books but can't afford to spend 15$+ on Jewish books right now. I'm also not sure which site offers the best options for non-Jewish toddler books.

Any recommendations on your favorite go to site to buy Jewish and non-jewish books for less?
They can be used if they're like new...

Thanks in advance!

Sign up for pj library. Not all the books are actually all that Jewish, but they're good toddler books.

Yup. But if OP is open to non Jewish books too, most PJ library books aren't worse than that (I throw out maybe one or two a year that really aren't ok)

I buy on Amazon. They have new & used in different conditions. I can't imagine getting library books for a toddler, things get licked & torn & peed on etc

people here are always giving away books.have you asked around if anyone is looking to give away childrens books. I don’t think I have ever bought books for my kids.

pj library is not conservative. it’s non denominational. most of the books will be fine for an orthodox family

My local library makes book sales every month where you can buy a bag of books for $5 or $.50 per book. I stock up over there.
Used books is definitely the way to go, especially at an age where kids won’t take the best care of them and /or grow out of them quickly.

So? Proofread them. If you don't like it, chuck it.

Lots of eBay sellers have buy 3 and get 1 free deals on used toddler books if you buy from the same seller. I usually search for one book I definitely want, then pick a few other books from that same store

I do!
I love that they have a nice selection and I can always throw it out if it doesn't meet my standard. It's free so it doesn't hurt. And my kids don't see the books prior usually so I can look it over before it gets to them...

They just don't have the typical frum books that I'm looking for and don't give the classic non-jewish ones either

So I recently checked on eBay and on Amazon for a specific book and it was more or less the same price (since of shipping...) as buying it in the store...

Can anyone recommend a specific seller?

I will definitely look into thriftbooks and the other website mentioned.

When it says in used condition, would you still buy it? And if yes, do you find it worn out?

So I tried ebay, Amazon, thrift book and the other website mentioned for Jewish books but I'm not having the best of luck finding Jewish books for a decent price...

Can anyone mention which specific books they were lucky to find?
