We want to buy furniture for our new couple who will be moving to Lakewood.
I want to get her all the basics- bedroom, dining room, couch, etc.
How much should I expect to pay for it?
And where is a good furniture place to shop?
I'm not looking for high end, just regular good quality stuff.
For reference, we are yeshivish/litvish.

they have a Kallah Special which gives you great savings

We are very happy with our furniture from Churchil. They had a good range of prices and up to date selection.
We got a couch, 2 tables 8 chairs and it was around 3k with beds and mattresses would’ve been closer to 5/6

Typical from furniture store pricing is around $8K for a full dining room set (table, 8 chairs, curio's, buffet), and $8K for a full bedroom set (beds, mattresses, tall chest, dresser with mirror, night table.) A sofa is an additional $1K. Yhe Chasuna mall in Monsey & Brooklyn give a free sofa if you buy a furniture package.

That's a lot of furniture for what is probably a small apartment!

Yeshivish don't generally start with a DR set they do a dinette set rather (at least my yeshivish friends)

chasuna mall sometimes a little cheaper especially with smart package also I think d and w has specials on some bedroom sets sharply discounted compared to regular stores....

another vote for Katz Furniture or Churchill. I would say pricing they are pretty similar, Churchill is a larger store with more selection, Katz might be a bit more personalized..but prob both depends how full the store is when you come.
