We recently moved into a new home that has a black front door with a huge peice of glass in the middle.
The glass is slightly opaque, but not fullly and I don't like that the inside of the house is semi-visible.
What can I cover it with that looks modern and not out of place? I don't really like curtains. A regular window roller shade?

You could just switch out the whole piece of glass for a completely opaque non see through one. I once did that on a front door I had with glass in it.
