why are we not allowed to discuss childhood vaccines in the natural parenting section?

ive seen alot of anti vax covid threads and people mentioning VAERS reports and it seems to be allowed on the board. VAERS has thousands of payouts each year to vaccine injured children and famlies. Why cant I discuss alternative vaccines/delayed scheduling here?

[vaccines are not a banned topic. you may discuss them in the vaccination forum]

You can start a thread about general vaccines. There were many a couple of years ago.

I read site rules that vaccines are a banned topic.
I want more info on the typical immunization schedule... DTap, IIV, MMR, VAR...

There's a vaccination forum. Which I happily blocked.

I vaxx. One at a time. And I'm tired of all the arguments.

Post away. In the correct forum.

Really???

In 2019 there were many threads on childhood vaccines.

Try to start a thread and see if it goes. I was unaware there is such a rule.

Perhaps there was a rule at one time.

There has been a Vaccinations forum since 2019 — just post there, it would be the right place to post about non-Covid vaccines: https://www.imamother.com/foru.....f=271

The reason is probably because you're opening a can of worms with it...
It is a very controversial topic, people have very strong opinions in both directions. There are lots of conflicting heated responses. It gets people very fired up and angry if you post something they feel strongly opposed to.

I respectfully disagree. A short few months ago I recall logging on here and someone had asked a question and got several great answers to her questions. I was surprised there were no attacks, it was very respectful compared to whatever else I've seen here at times on the topic .

Good luck op!

Some book recommendations to start with:
*Dissolving illusions
*How to raise a healthy child in spite of your doctor

What kind of questions do you have? Many pediatricians are totally okay with giving vaccines in a more drawn out schedule. Did you bring it up with your pediatrician? That would be my first step. I spread vaccines out and that’s what I did.
