What are the mid-range nice hotels in Yerushalayim? I need cheaper than the Waldorf but still want something nice.

Thanks!

Almost everything is cheaper than the Waldorf, so this should be pretty easy. Go to a site like Expedia, Booking, Agoda, etc and check prices.

Doesn't need to be mehadrin, we don't plan on eating much at the hotel.

What else is similar to Leonardo Plaza? Has anyone stayed at Herbert Samuel?

Even eating "not much", israel has major shmita issue, so for people who are makpid, you cant really eat anythig, not even a salad.

In the US we dont think about salads to need to be mehadrin.

and soups , main, everything may have an issue now with Shmita .

a place to stay with zero food from hotel is an option. (and buy in mehadrin groceries/ restaurants/ take out)

many town centers hotels are odler building, rooms are small, and carpets are old.

adjsut your expectations.

think old days Miami beach 41st street hotels.

I have such amazing memories of the Miami Beach hotels in the late 80s and 90s. Thanks for bringing me back!
