Don’t laugh. I have a pack of ribs sitting in my freezer for a while now and I figured I may as well dump a piece of steak in the soup instead of buying a package of chuck meat.
Will that work?

Also they're super fatty. It will make for a greasy soup...

You're going to throw an expensive steak into a pot of boiling water?
It's sad when bad things happen to good meat.

It’s not exactly good meat. It was imported beef , not of the American expensive variety and it has been sitting around for a while

You can but I wouldn’t do that to ribs. If it’s been in the freezer all this time it’s fine. Defrost it and cook it up with some homemade bbq sauce 😋

Wait, you usually put chuck meat in your chicken soup? Isn't it only chicken soup if it's made with chicken?
I would make a vegetable soup with meat instead.

Chicken and Bone Flanken. The best. But cook it earlier and remove fat.
