I've seen ads in the past, but when I called they mentioned it being dependent on my child attending certain community classes.

I want to clarify.
You're with an agency for OPWDD services, find out if they have a shabbaton, and what qualifications you need to have to join.
Some agencies will allow you to 'buy' Through hours. Others only if you have traditional services or FSS in your budget, while other agencies will take cash.
The advertised shabbos getaway is just a business who charges many hours of Community classes.
It has nothing to do with an agency and qualifications.
If you have several $1000 to spare in your budget, and want to use it to go away for a shabbos, they will take care of your extra community class hours.

I take my family shabbos getaway from my frr account & then I go to rayim shabbaton for parents with my purchase hrs from rayim

I believe that You can't officially use FRR for a shabbos getaway. You'd need to send in for a different reason, and with the reimbursement money, you'd go away. Right?
