Im having some yeshiva bochurim for Friday night. Any ideas of what to make that goes over well with boys?
I usually make poppers, which they like. Any ideas for other courses?

Boys eat anything lol.
When I have boys, I usually make a meat and a chicken dish plus a kugel. Depending how many guys, a second side dish. Also potato salad, veggie salad, etc.

Potato Kugel is usually a winner. Deli roll, Cole slaw, chicken soup with matza balls.

I serve lots of challah and dips
Soup with croutons- if they’re not shy they’ll eat lots of plain croutons and make a mess all over the floor
Hot poppers
Schnitzel- No chicken on a bone
Franks’n blanks
Kugel
Pickles
Make sure you have soda
And good dessert

I wrote a bunch of things already but I just thought of something else- I don’t make it often but teen boys like mini meat pizzas
Most don’t go for vegetables- salad and hot vegetables are not appreciated by most teen boys- they also don’t appreciate finding pieces of mushrooms in their food
Not saying you shouldn’t make it for everyone else but don’t make it just for them

Yellow rice with peas and hotdog slices mixed in - mix the peas and cooked hotdog slices at the end they’ll be perfect when you re- heat
Everyone looks at it strangely as not a Shabbos food, but it gets devoured EVERY TIME

If they’re hanging around after the meal some would actually like Chulent on Friday night!
