Why does tuition have to be so high???? My bill is outrageous. It takes over all our income.
My kids still need shoes, clothing, costs,food.... We need to pay rent tooo....
Why do they feel like tuition is the only thing I need to pay? Literally my paycheck goes all to tuition and I still owe so so much.... Twisted Evil

I mean this in the most sensitive way, but it costs a lot of money to run a school! If you look at per pupil annual spending among public schools, who don’t even have a dual curriculum, it’s $10k-$25k per pupil. Unless there is massive subsidization by the government or donors, it’s gonna cost what it costs to run a frum school. No?

There's 3 options, and there's schools that do all of these things.

1) High tuition.
2) Big donors.
3) Don't pay the teachers, or pay them a pittance.

You can't pay the teachers a decent wage and have low tuition, unless someone is there to make up the difference.
