Can anyone give me a rough estimate for what it costs to put in a new kitchen these days?
I saw on an old thread someone paid 13K including appliances, how much more did it go up?

Including counters, cabinets and appliances. Medium size kitchen. I know it’s going to vary a lot but I just want a rough estimate if anyone has.
20? 50?

Thanks!

Can I ask what type and color of cabinets you chose and what type and color counter?

Are you happy with all your decisions?

White with a brownish goldish vein counter is quartz? Does it absorb stains that arent wiped up right away?

Prices are still going up.

From my custom cabinet supplier which is about to raise prices:
Cherry had a reduction in price. Some woods like Bamboo had only a minor increase. Walnut pricing stayed stable, but White Oak saw tremendous increase. Quarter Sawn and Rift Cut White Oak has become short in supply and therefore those woods have become quite costly.

I'm also looking into redoing my kitchen. Does it make sense to wait for prices to go down, or will they just keep rising steadily?

Recent decreases in the inflation rate do not translate into prices going down. It just means going up more slowly.

No. The only thing I’m noticing is pans and pots - I used some barkeepers friend to clean it but it’s not really good to so I don’t put disposable pans straight on my counter anymore.

It doesn't seem like prices will be going down anytime soon.

I'm in the middle of putting in a new kitchen and my pricing is similar. I think my contractor price is more and appliances, cabinets, countertops, etc are each slightly less. I also replaced windows, sliding patio doors, and bar stools for the island.

The number will greatly depend on the size of the kitchen.
