Yes. Also whats the alternative. Its not free to keep them home. All the trips and gas and activities cost money. Past pre school age my kids wont just sit around the house. So its pick your poison.

That's not bad, $50/week more than last year...
Unfortunately daycamp is very expensive.

I just checked out the rates for our local day camp on Long Island:
Half Summer $2,700
Full Summer $3,900
Boy, am I glad our day camp days are in the past. We're also on our last year of yeshiva tuition ($20K+), and I can't wait until that money gets to stay in my savings account.
