5 girls here keH. It’s always a party, and omg hair and ponytail rubbers and bobby pins everywhere. They fight like cats and dogs, but I keep reminding them one day they won’t be able to live without each other

Theres a family in LA- The father is a mohel and had 11 girls before having his first and only boy, who is now 3 years old. It's so cute to see.
My neighbors husband is a mohel and had 4 girls first before his first and only boy.

All girls here!
I love it, and they love it even more, but a healthy little baby boy would be a really nice treat!

I had 4 boys before my girl. Would still take another boy any time Hashem wants to send. Love my girls too (have 3 already) but my boys have a piece of my heart.

I'm so curious! I'm from LA... Don't know any mohelim that fit this description (and they are all too old to have 3yos), but that's probably because I've been out of LA for 14 years...
Lol

6 girls k"h and I love it! In fact, I was actually relieved with my last one when I found out I was having a girl. People think that with all girls my house must be calm and quite and neat. But somehow I got the really loud, rambunctious, messy batch of girls LOL. So many positives to having all the same. All but the youngest are in the same school right now so I don't need to worry about conflicting schedules. All girls means no school Sunday so I don't need to deal with early morning carpools and needing to pick kids up in middle of the day (where I live there's no bussing for the boys on Sunday). I can easily pass down clothes so I'm usually only buying the oldest a full wardrobe each year and only filling in here and there for the others, which saves a ton of money. With girls I don't need to worry nearly as much about where I'm taking them, in terms of tznius. In the summer I can take them to the beach/community pool, which I would never take a boy over 5/6 to. I also don't need to worry about walking around the house in pajamas or with my hair uncovered in the morning and can just breastfeed in the living room without worrying about covering up. I occasionally feel bad that my husband doesn't have a son but I'm so grateful for all my girls.

This doesn’t apply to me, but DH was commenting that he sees so many families with all girls, and he is wondering where all the boys are. I told him there are plenty of all boy families - we just happen to know more girl ones.

I have 5 friends, all within a 2 block radius of me that have 1 girl and 4 boys or more

My parents have 6 girls straight, a boy, girl, boy… it’s a lot of fun having so many sisters.

There was also another family we knew that had 10 girls then a boy.

Same here!
Dh started saying recently that he would love to have a son walking to shul with him, at the Shabbos table...
He loves our girls, but one can always hope, and daven.

There's another little, insignificant thing that bothers me, I wonder if any of you can relate.
All these ads always ALWAYS have a Daddy, Mommy, girl and boy on them.
Like a family can only be perfect that way.
I imagine that in the near future, 2 daddies/mommies will become more "trendy" and accepted, but the boy and girl thing will stay

I grew up as as only girl with 8 brothers and now I only have boys so reliving it all over again.
My boys are the cutest things ever and they definitely have lots of energy but I'm pretty much used to all this. I love the energy and the fun that they have.
And actually dh is as delighted with boys as I am, he grew up an only boy with 12!!! sisters so boys is heaven for him.
Still dreaming about a little princess but we take it one day at a time...

I have 3 girls B"AH. I did raise a little boy for a few years (foster) and feel lucky to have had that experience.

I'm not sure how my family is different than a mixed gender family, because this is the life I know!

One of my DD's close friends is in a family of 8 girls, one boy, and then a girl.
He is most definitely KING. LOL.
