Hi, I used to go to this butcher that sold everything marinated in bags and you could either put it in the oven in a shallow tin with water to bake, or in a crockpot or even the warming drawer overnight. I would like to make boneless ribs in a bag like that. Let me preface by saying I am not a good or natural cook, so I may be totally off on this and need you wise ladies to guide me.

My thought was to buy crockpot liners (bags), marinate the meat overnight in one of them, and then put the bag in the crockpot tomorrow morning with a bit of water on the bottom and let the ribs cook all day Friday. My question is, is this a plan or not? And is there anything else I need to know?

(The reason I am contemplating this is that my ribs are getting dried out when I put them in the oven Friday afternoon to warm up)

Thank you.

It sounds like you need to vacuum pack the meat with the marinade. A crockpot liner is not sealed the same way.
