What do you feed your kids on Yom Kippur? They need breakfast, lunch and supper. Do you serve cold food or do you leave a blech on?

All cold stuff. Yom Kippur is the last day I want to mess around with food. They'll survive for one day.

I serve my kids cold food. One of my neighbors used to make cholent for the kids and the local rav told her that it was a problem to serve hot food on yom kippur. More than that I don't know, but if you are considering doing such a thing, a sheila may be in order.

cereal for breakfast, sisterhood makes sandwiches for the kids at shul for lunch, late afternoon snacks, and the fast is over early enough that they can eat dinner when we break the fast.
