I have a very challenging almost 4 yo dc, and I'm hoping you ladies will help with some book recommendations.
Dc struggles with anxiety, selective mutism at school. At home dc is often biting, hitting, goes from 0 to 100 if doesn't get what they want, often jumping on the couch, jumping on me, bothering baby etc.
Yes, dc is going to be evaluated, but it's going to take a while to get that.
Would really appreciate the suggestions and maybe even advice Smile

Go to the library !
Dk where you live but some places also have jewish library as well as public library.
Get a bunch of books and see which one helps you the most.
Getting 10 suggestions from 10 different posters won't help much. We dk you or your child and what her issues are.
The best parenting book is the one that makes sense to you and whose advice you'll implement in your own home!
Hatzlacha rabba!
Ps: I like "better behavior now" from s. c. Radcliffe

Check his diet. Is he eating a lot of artificial food dyes , sugar, dairy? If he is sensitive to certain foods, it could effect his behavior big time.

Spare the Child is a fantastic book for typically developing children and would be beneficial to any parent imo.
