I used to listen to shiurim a lot.
I still try to, but it's less, and my attention span is shrinking... Can't Believe It

I would love to hear any small thoughts about Chanukah, tidbits of inspiration, something uplifting that you've heard or read...

Thank you all and a Freilechen Chanukah! Smile

Here's something I just read that I loved, printed this week in the Voice of Lakewood:

According to Rav Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, each night of Chanukah offers a unique opportunity to daven for something specific:

First night: Not to be lonely or depressed.

Second night: A happy home - a shidduch and shalom bayis.

Third night: Good children who are happy and healthy. (The Chasam Sofer says that when you cry in front of the candles, you can be sure that your tefillos will be answered.)

Fourth night (symbolizing the four Imahos): For a woman to be connected to her true essence within her home.

Fifth night (symbolizing the five Chumashim): For a husband and children who are talmidei chachamim.

Sixth night: Inner joy.

Seventh night: Happy Shabbosim.

Eighth night: Zos Chanukah is an extremely powerful day for davening, with a special segulah for barren women.

From Amit yaghoubi chanukah shuir on TorahAnytime-
It was a great! Definitely worth listening to. One idea that she spoke about is when lighting candles saying the brocha during the word “vihadlike” think of a nachal (stream of water) coming down from shamayim washing away all the impurities and cleansing you and making you pure.
