HI!
Looking for advice from some of you experienced mama's out there:
I will be tutoring 2 kids basic judaics, tefilah, alef bais, etc. on Sunday mornings for 1 to 2 hours (not sure yet)
What should I charge per child?
I am not in NY where you can charge a lot and thats the norm.
I was charging $20 for one child during the week.
Opinions?????

I am VERY qualified. Teacher/Counselor all my life,
and currently.
This will be the only judaism they will get.

20-25$ an hour here, but it also depends on where you are and what the norm is there. Why dont u ask around in your area?

I think you can charge at least thirty dollars an hour.

Are the 2 children siblings? if not, charge per child - $20/hr per child. If yes, then charge at a slight discount - $35 an hour for both.

maybe you should find out what other people charge ..but I think b/w 25-30

wow, maybe it is the community I love in but the mothers agreed that 18.oo was fair for 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

In Israel - charedy community, that means poor! - I charged 50 NIS per hour for a 12 year old, that would be approximately $10, so maybe $18 are really okay (And I am qualified!)
