is there a problem is a crib mattress is too soft? I just bought one and am not sure if I should keep it.
does anyone have the 'Kolcraft Pediatric 1000'? is it good/bad?
I had read reviews about it but no one spoke about the softness.

crib mattresses should be as firm as possible. Too soft is bad for the back, but even worse, can be a suffocation hazard as the baby's face sinks into the mattress.
