I’m a graphic designer and am looking to start my own freelance business. Idk why my mind is blanking out when it comes to naming my business. I would do something with my name but can’t think of anything. My name is Raizy (Ray) and last name starts with B. It doesn’t have to be with my name either maybe something to do with design idk!

Definitely do a play on the word ray - a ray of light, of sunshine, of creativity...
Idk if that should be your business name or tagline though.

Use your name. First name. Last name design. It’s his most professional designers / artists operate.

Just use your name as your business name. Always relevant, easy to remember, and when most people talk about using a graphic designer, they say "look into Malky Wienberg", not "look into Queen Dream Designs". Clients don't really care about a clever name, they just want to know your actual name. We're not talking about Amazon or Google.

I think business names with misspelled words as a play of words often come across as cheesy.

As others have said, I think people are moving away from the cheesier pun or play on words type of names and choosing more professional sounding names. And it is easier for people to link the business with the person. If someone asks for a recommendation and you say Raynbowtique designs, well who are they. If you have a name, people will see it as more personal.
