I'm iyH going to the YTE Tnu Kavod event this Sunday. It's a combo dinner/women's lecture/hachnasas sefer Torah. Last dinner I went to was 4 years ago and styles are drastically different. Then I wore a black straight skirt and a nice top, but much more yeshivish crowd (my husband's kollel). This event will have yeshivish and jpf crowd mixed.
What do I wear?

Same, maybe a pleated skirt since that's what everyone is wearing now

Sounds like a great event, is it for kids also or just adults? I'd say formal wear is probably appropriate...

They have a special kids program side by side with adults. Does formal mean fancy or plain and neat?
