We did myofunctional therapy with a certified COM (certified oral facial myologist). World of a difference! Also had the tongue tie released (late at age 7!) a different child now.
Directory of providers is found here http://orofacialmyologist.org/members/

Will he eat healthy crunchy food? Like sweet potato chips, you can make homemade cookies out of almond flour, salted peanuts are a good source of protein too.

ARFID is an eating disorder. Your child needs treatment from an eating disorder specialist who is trained in ARFID. There is no other way around this. Feel free to PM me for recommendations.

My child suffered tremendously and had complicated profiles. The Guttman sisters are ots that completely changed the behavior as well as his ability to eat and try new foods. They wrote a blog on the impact of smell with food. https://handsonotrehab.com/the.....mell/
Definitely reach out to them or listen to their weekly talk for help. They are life changing.
