Is the only way to get a Sheitel where the hair falls away from the face, and for the front to have a round look, is to buy a lace front
I don’t want one that looks like the hair is growing out of my scalp. I just don’t like the triangular look
My sheitels are 10 & 11 years old
Still in good condition - my Shabbos one great condition since I only wear it 1x a week
But I want something new

When you find the answer please let me know! I hate how my sheitel triangulates my face. I wouldn’t get lace, so this seems like my unfortunate lot in life 😕

Yes and I don’t want empty promises from the Sheitel macher when I’m spending 2K+ (I know that’s not a lot these days)

I recently got a silk Irene-it’s better. I took a lot of the wefts out to make it thinner and focused on tailoring the top to the size of my head. Doesn’t look like a lace, I still have some hair in my face, but it’s still a lot better than my old sheitel and less triangular.

My sheitel macher cut into the shaitel and removed some wefts from the front sides.

I have seen this in sheitels that have the hairline sewn differently, with the hairs going back, and lots of baby hair. They can have too much height and look a bit frizzy though. I think Clary makes this type.
