Anyone else on this diet for health reasons? I am not doing this for weight loss, I need to do it for my health. It helps that I like fresh and healthy food, but sometimes it gets boring because of the limited possibilities. And sometimes, I crave a certain forbidden food and I have to find a substitute.
Would love more ideas.
The only sugar substitute that I can have is maple sirup in small amounts. I often use banana or dates as sweeteners. I eat a lot of gf oats to fill me up.
Would love to get receipe ideas. Thank you so much.

Banana pancakes are yum! Mash a banana, add two eggs, mix and fry.

Carb free or free of refined carbohydrates?
Keto and low fat is extremely challenging as it would basically leave you with just tuna, egg whites, and chicken breast.
(Btw, GF oats and bananas are not carb free or even low carb. I don’t know if this information is useful to you)

All I can think of with this request is:

Add 2 parts hydrogen to 1 part oxygen and drink!

I like your sense of humor, but for me it's no joke, I have a serious illness.
And it is not as bad as it sounds. I eat lots of vegetables, fruits, poultry, some fish. I make pancakes, waffles and muffins with an oat/banana base. I sometimes use pure cocoa powder and pure vanilla. I snack on oilfree popcorn, date balls and homemade fruit leather.
I am just looking for some new ideas.

Is maple syrup and coconut sugar allowed? If yes I have a delicious cookie recipe for you?
