What is the best way to remove or trim nostril hairs?
It is really long so if she just has a little bit of dirt stuck then it is very obvious.

Don’t trim - it will just grow back longer
If she has mustache facial hairs you can wax
Or tweeze the hairs every once in a while but if does hurt for a second

Waxing
Gives a very clean estetic appearence
Not painful, it's a very small area.

If I understand correctly, we're talking about nose hairs. Not sure how waxing would work, and tweezing would be super-painful. Also, nose hairs exist for a reason -- they block irritants and they help warm/cool the air as you breathe. You don't want to get rid of them; just make them less . . . prominent.
They sell all kinds of trimmers specifically for this purpose, such as this:

I've had one of these for years, and I got them for my kids when they reached their teens. It's just part of basic grooming, at least in Western countries.

I do electrolysis. It's very painful the first few times so I'm not sure it's the best solution for a 9 year old unless they are terribly embarassed about their situation and are willing to do anything.

I was reading about this issue. Apparently tweezing is not good because you can damage the delicate lining of the nose.
I think I will get the trimmer and see how it goes.
