I have one in Yeshiva who is coming home tomorrow (whoo hoo!). BUT, one went to NY for the summer, and my mom took the two middle ones to her for a month. So for today and tomorrow I only have 2 kids at home. It is such a weird feeling. It was bizarre cooking dinner for such a small family last night!
Anyone else have their kids go away for the summer?

Yeah, but the two left behind are little, 2 & 5.
One is going to camp, the other is going to be a CIT at a camp. She is also going to take them places. She lives in AZ, so it was a big trip. It was so funny, as we didn't tell the kids we were doing this. I went to the airport to pick her up on Monday, and she knocked on the door, and my son opened it. He was like, OH, hello Bubby. Like it was nothing. It was hilarious.
Anyway, I lost my big helpers, like for setting the table and clearing after dinner. At least my son is coming home tomorrow. He will help.
I have one friend who has all her kids go to camp I think.

It's not summer now, but my mother keeps telling me to send the big one to NY for the summer or winter vacation. She's only 10 and I'm not letting her go by herself. The flight is about 11 hours and besides I'd miss her too much.

Yo'ma, my mom came to pick them up. That was the only way I would agree to let them go. The two who went are 9 & 13.
