Need to find someone who deals with this in children. My mother suffers from it, I suffer from it, and apparently I passed down this lovely gene to my daughter. She’s only nine but it’s already affecting her relationships and her way of life. I do NOT want her to have to go through what I did (do) and I need to get her help. Who do I go to?

I’d definitely say dr Koslowitz is your go to. She’s very expensive but extremely well versed.

Went to Chanie Monoker and she referred me to the Guttmann sisters - neurodevelopment so ots who specialize in this. Saved my daughter. 718-621-3385. They are in Brooklyn. We did it virtually. Life changing.

Can I ask what method the Gutmann sisters use? I have a 9 year old suffering terribly from it! It’s so sad to see how her life revolves around the misophonia and I worry about her all the time.

Hi, Can you elaborate? How old was your daughter at the time? What kind of therapy or methods did they use to help her? Is she still finding that it was beneficial a year later ?

His success rate is very high, I dont know how long is needed, its very individual and depends on how strong you have misophonia.
Call his office, his secretary can answer any questions, if I remember correctly she is in during the afternoon.
