Does anyone have a nugget couch as their couch in their playspace? Wondering if it could work to have one for sometimes playing and sometimes using as a couch? Can adults sit on it comfortably or is the lack of back support/ height an issue? Would it help if I have two? Would love some answers.
Thanks in advance

I wouldn’t use it as a couch for adults, although I would sit on it occasionally on the floor. It’s not very comfortable.
My sons OT got it for us through a grant for OT materials . It’s a great toy but not comparable at all to a full size couch.

The triangle pillows are supportive. If adults plan to use it and want height, get two.

I like one for my kids to have a couch for their height. It's part of their reading corner. We sit on it to be on their level

Which state do you live in? I wonder if we would qualify and get reimbursed

My kids insurance allows for certain things if recommended by doctor/specialist. I don't know ins and outs of it though!

I sit on it as a couch and find it very comfortable. I have it against the wall and lean on the triangles. It’s my favorite place to sit.

We stack it up like a chair and adults sit comfortably. Guest didn't know its meant for the kids.

They have pictures on their website. I haven't gotten a second one yet. Keep thinking about it.... prices are going up soon.

I don’t think it’s a replacement for a couch, it’s low down, but if it’s just for a playroom that sounds good enough

I got the color that matches my living room but currently one of the kids 'borrowed' it.

They absolutely LOVE it!!! Best purchase! I would get another if I had the space for it.

Really? Where have they announced this?

I have my nugget since 2018 (before it became popular!) Still in great shape although not used very heavily bc my kids are growing into it. I wouldn't replace a regular couch with it, like in the living room for adults, but if you wanted a couch in the playroom then I'd just go for this. And yes you can do so much more with 2 especially if the kids are older.

We have 2 and my kids use it all the time BH and it's a favorite when their friends come over. It definitely adds to their creativity and physical activity . I store it all in the corner in a stack (and often a kid settles up there to read or chill) but we've never used it as an actual couch esp because the kids are always building it into different things. I've seen it in some other people's house (especially who have still just younger kids) who use it more as a couch /lounge area

We have 2, they are both grey but different shades and I use it in my living room as an additional couch. So if the kids aren’t playing with it, it’s configured like a couch. I find it very comfortable when pushed against the wall. If not then the triangles don’t give enough support.
