Or know someone

I'm considering it for my daughter for preschool.
I went there many years ago and it was super yeshivish. Are the families still the same?

Does anyone have info on it in general?

Don't have any current information.

I hear Bais Yakov of Bensonhurst is also very yeshivish, if that is what you are looking for.

Thank you.
I don't want as yeshivish actually.
I was hoping it became a bit more "middle of the road".

Maybe it did become more "middle of the road", don't have current info.

But even my classmates from decades ago, the Teachers and Principal were very yeshivish,

but the student body was quite mixed.

Sorry you have no idea what you're talking about, I had a lot of friends in YOB. I only knew one who was not from such a Yeshivish family. At least 95% of the student body came from Yeshivish very frum families.

Why don't you consider BYA?

I actually am considering BYA. BH got accepted to both.
I was hoping YOB wouldn't be as yeshivish because there they still remember me and love me so it would be nice. But it was too yeshivish for me even back then. I just didn't have a choice since it's elementary school.

Hopefully someone who is currently there will reply. I had one brother who send his kids there before moving to Monsey - very Yeshivish. But I don't live in NY anymore and I don't know what it's like now. I went to BYA and thought it was a really good school - in my days the secular was definitely higher level than YOB but I don't have current information.

My daughter teaches there, and it’s very Yeshivish. Lots of families from Bensonhurst, etc. If you’re not looking for very Yeshivish, then it’s not the place for you.

My niece goes there and I went to her production a few weeks ago. Seems that everyone was super yeshivish. Looked like I was the only woman there with a lace wig. My sil is super yeshivish, her kids are not allowed to see anything on a screen annywhere and she didn’t even have texting on her phone till recently.
