I like making pizza but hate the super oily cheeses. Which one is just really good cheese for pizza?

Fresh mozzarella is very nice for a homemade pizza, margherita style.

You can buy “pizza cheese,” or plain mozzarella.

The best is to but a block of mozzarella and shred it yourself

Shredded pizza cheese. It's a nice mix of cheese that gets nicely melty and tastes very good.

any specific brand? I bought pizza cheese and it wasn’t good.

I personally really don't like how haolam melts on pizza. Shtark melts better in my opinion

I personally like shredded Muenster cheese on my homemade pizza. Much better than shredded mozzarella.

I have never seen shtark brand, I gotta look for it.
I don't like pre-shredded pizza cheese, and I don't like using mozzarella, as it gets very stringy due to it's being part skim/low moisture. I like to use a block of muenster cheese, which I shred myself using a grater.
