In Japan, we just unplugged them every erev Shabbos.
Sorry, I don't think there is any other way to use them like they are when they are on since they have a weight detector to turn on the pre wash, deodorizer, and other functions.
Just bought one of our very own for our Japandi style bathroom. So excited!

You need to unplug because there is no way to override some of the automatic features.
Those features depend on which model you have.
The washlets are great - just set a reminder like you might do for other appliances.

If you unplug these can you still flush them? How does that work with shabbos?

Can you get a smart plug and set the outlet to go off every Shabbat. You just need to remember to schedule it for YT?

Flushing isn't affected by the washlet seat - the washlet is an "accessory".
I would imagine you could get an electrician to install some kind of smart plug.
I have lights on the Lutron Caseta system and it is very easy to program them.
I am still trying to master my "smart" thermostat - it is way too smart for me.
