I'm not a fashionista but I love clothes.
If you look at high end shops at the more expensive clothing, you begin to see patterns or trends.
What I am seeing: The florals are giving way to more swirly kinds of patterns, kind of paisley like but less sharply defined. The florals that are showing are a bit different. Not as busy, there is a lot of solid color material in between the flowers. The ruching has changed. There is much more draping of the material and also twist fronts. Like so:

I have a feeling that appliques will be making a comeback for wedding wear. I'm beginning to see it, and its something that would be right up the frum style.

Anyway, not that I can afford any of this. And not that I even dress remotely like this. But I enjoy armchair fashion! FWIW, I recently went shopping in Junees and bought my daughter a bunch of outfits (I hate real shopping and try to do as much as possible as early as possible) that don't necessarily incorporate all this. Frum fashion is really really different and has its own more monochramatic look in general. You know, either its tan, black, or white.

I am also an amateur armchair fashionista and I think you hit it right on the head.
I agree with your conclusions about the floral argument that it’s shifting into a different type of floral (maybe more tropical?) and heading towards paisley.
In the frum stores I noticed lots of wrap around styles (skirts and tops) dark denims, asymmetricals, zany prints.

As someone from the fashion industry. There is a place called WGSN they foresee the trends of the future. The big brands will do it first like prada, gucci etc and then the rest will follow. Not all the trends are applicable for the frum world, so each shop will decide for themselves which trend to use. For example this season colors purple emerald green and fuchia are very in. Both in pastel and flashy version. Which obviously not all frum stores will dare to sell.The skirts are actually mini, which also frum stores cant sell. All the other trends carry through for a few seasons like for example blazers, plaids, silk, slip skirts. White shirts in all kind of variations. Long denim skirts... As long as it suits your figure and you feel comfortable !
In general the vibe is that people had enough of not dressing up in corona and now they are happy to dress up, bold colors, big statement pieces ( think big earrings big belts etc)
Preppy is also coning back as people are going back to work in offices (read mini plaids skirts, shirts, blazers, thick sole mocassins)
Outdoor sportswear is still in -
If you follow the reflective on instagram they have great ideas of very fashion forward clothing.

You have a good eye! I was recently at one of these high end department stores and I saw some of the above trends, but still a lot of tiered midi and maxi floral dresses. So no need to get rid of all your colorful dresses and go to back to all black! So many beautiful colors out there now for spring.
And I agree that frum fashion is really different.

Slip dresses are still very in.
I got one black for Shabbos and one denim slip type dress for weekday and it really elevated my look. I will try to get a white one for the summer.

Can you please post an example of what you mean by a slip type dress? I thought it meant a straight satin sleeveless dress that looked like a slip, but that wouldn't work with denim..

For weekday slip is too fancy IMO. I bought a denim dress in the same flattering shape as a slip. So it was called the denim slip.

It depends where you carry your weight. I’m very curvy with big behind, stomach, top and a smaller waist and this is a great style for me.
Also, it is meant to be worn as a layering piece. A long cardigan thrown over, a blazer, sweatshirt ect that can hide the unflattering stomach and tush.
