4 year old Dd got an open wound on her knee and her tights got stuck. How do I remove tights without further tearing off skin?

maybe call your doctor.
I cut around the tights and just left the stuck part on. in the bath let it soak and it will come off but it will be a fresh open wound. refua shelaima!!! I get chills remembering this.
when she needs to be dressed use lots and lots of cream and gauze and tape it well but not tight.
secret to healing is letting it air out and keeping it dry so take off gauze and tights as soon as possible and let it dry till she must be fully dressed again.

oy, poor kid. it's not terribly painful but it's bound to make anyone anxious and scared. use distractions while you work at removing the tights.
