So my husband came home yesterday from work with a 9x13 of leftover cookies. They make these every year for tu bishvat. And every year the cookies are a little dry maybe burned and not terribly flavorful. The kids eat a few and then we tend to throw the rest out.
I googled ideas of what to do with leftover cookies. None seemed worthwhile so I decided to try something and I threw them into the blender with some red milk. I froze the results and tasted this morning. Really not bad though took a good while until it really defrosted enough to get any out.
Any ideas on how to make it a little airier without adding tons of sugar or cream? I hadn't used all the cookies so I'm going to make the rest of my kids today.
