I have done it because I always make more than we eat. But you might need to add some water (and then spices) when reacting because it might taste a little dried out.

Yes. Let it thaw.
I would only use it with a dish that had a lot of good tasting sauce though as it isn't going to be as good as freshly made. As blueeyedtwin posted, it is going to be dry.

I just froze some last night.
I also freeze pasta and rice.
The trick is to microwave it for just the right time - too long and it tastes dry.
Or, reheat with a sauce in a pan.
