When my children are no longer teens. I think that is the only way to deal with their perpetual state of volibility.

I've gotten three through it, you'd think I'd be an expert, but now my fourth is being so much fun.

I have one who has been through the army and so far one year of U, he's a pleasure now that he's out of the house.
1 18 yo who had better learn that parents are always right or get to the army before we disown him.
The rest I can still deal with B'H.
Oh, and no girls.. makes life easier I think.

LOL. Girls are different. My boys were breezes; they just thought they knew everything. My oldest was a girl and I went from her favorite being in the world to a monstrous axe murderer. My 14 year old is easier than the now 26, but still...Sleep sounds good sometimes.

Agreed in full but then there are a few days that they aren't here for some reason and they come back...the house was so empty without them...

I meant volatile. I was also thinking of voluble.
I MADE UP A NEW WORD, OKAY!!!
volibility: acting dramatic, emotional, mecurial, egotistical. ie being a teen.

Always a comfort to know I'm not alone.
My 14 year old is totally impossible. My almost 12 year old seems to be starting down that road.
And I'm now faced with the thrill of two months of summer vacation with no planned activities for them.
I think I'll take a nap til September.
