Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthplus or Fidelis? Does one have better doctors/dentists in their plan? Does one cover things better than the other? My doctor is on both plans. But my dentist isn't on either plan. I don't need it for kids. Boro Park/Flatbush neighborhood. Thanks for your help!

From the best two I feel it comes down to fidelis and healthfirst. I personaly chose healthfirst but know some dentists and PTs that only accept fidelis because the pay better (or have a less complicated system)

Fidelis is very tough. They give a hard time with dr appts and prescriptions. Healthfirst is much easier to work with.

Think of specialists you may need like dentist, ENT, eye doctor, gynecologist/OB … and see which ones take the insurance.

I’m having trouble with one area of specialty that none take my child’s insurance.
