my husband and I are debating whats better. to go to a hotel in tiveria for shabbos which is expensive bec you're paying for all meals, or go during the week, eat out and pay for doing things.
a- which would you prefer
b- do you know of anything relatively cheap to do in tiveria?

I would go during the week if I was you they have a restaurant there called Cherry which is really great theres atving and banana boating and tons of fun things to do there! Btw where are you gonna stay? im looking to go in the summer and I want to stay in a place that has a private pool...

My experience is that unless you are going with a group of friends/family a Shabbat at a hotel is a waste. All you do is eat and sleep. Besides breakfast, the hotel food (not restaurant) isn't that great. On Shabbat, unless you are with a group doing "hipuch aruchot" you have to do your eating around the hotel's schedule which may not match your davening schedule. I would sooner take B & B during the week and do stuff during the day.
