Same, B"H my son has had a good year with the Menahel as his Rebbe. We are from OOT and he has gone out of the way for him.
OP, your situation isn't ok. What does your son say? Does he want to leave? Is there an option for him to move to a different class? I wouldn't suggest letting your son stay home for a few weeks that could cause way more damage. But definitely look into other options.
