I’m looking for a sleep away camp solution for my oldest son, who is 12. He loves learning and is into robotics and coding. He is NOT into team sports at all.
He’ll do boating and hiking, woodworking, swimming or biking, but there’s no way he’ll enjoy 4 weeks worth of watching other kids play ball.
We’re in Boston, so an out of town crowd would be better.
Any ideas? Any and all input is appreciated. Even if it’s “just give up now”.
Thank you so much!

Camp Yoreh Deah would probably appeal to him, but I think he's still too young. I believe the youngest bunk is coming out of 8th grade.

This looks totally up his alley! Wow. Keeping this in mind for next year. Thank you.

If you’re willing to spend, maybe a traveling camp? My son went to Meromim but I think yours might be too young.

Chaverim does have a lot of sports but there are a lot of other activities as well that are less sporty and kids have a decent amount of choice in terms of activities. My son went and loved it- great people running it. Highly invested in each kids' development.
