Most definitely not. My goal was to have a pleasurable day with DH and my 2 children. Previous Purims have been way too stressful. We did our deliveries and zehu.
You decide to send me something? That's so nice of you but I will NOT sacrifice the calm in my house in order to get something back to you.
You got one of mine and couldn't get a mm back to me? I'm glad our relationship is stronger than that and I'm not offended in the slightest.

I gave 18 and am HAPPY that we only got 6! We don't need more nosh or sugar OR stuff in our house, lol - I feel good that I did a lot (for me - preschool Morah style with my newly 3yo, haha) and made people feel cared for who didn't expect it from me

I noticed that MM were noticeably much smaller this year and that people gave fewer. Frankly, the cost of food and people's expenses have gone way way up. I was not at all offended. Made and delivered 12, sent a few donation cards, and that was it. Silver lining: less to toss for Pesach.
