I just did the math... you are making more than $45 an hour. That's really not bad at all.

Just putting it out there.
Most people cannot be good /responsible teachers if they teach full time.
It's nearly impossible since every teaching class/period involves separate prep and marking etc.
So yes, maybe per hour of being in the classroom sounds good but they can't do much else because of all their work after and before hours.

In addition, teaching and giving out all your energy for more than 6 hours in a row is almost impossible

Well, teachers do manage this somehow in public schools, in addition to other duties before and after school that rarely are expected in frum schools.
And yes, there are many excellent public school teachers. I've worked with many:)
