Any nice dessert ideas for a simcha at home?
Something that will look really nice on the plate.
At night we'll be doing mini pecan pies with ice cream, I'm trying to come up with a pretty dessert for the day meal.

I think people appreciate light dessert after a heavy cholent and main course.
How about two different colours sorbet with a sprinkling of crunchy nuts.

I don't feel like that's presentable enough, either some kind of cool plating or something a little different.
I do think it should be light, I guess just has to be the right thing

Two tone sorbet loaf with cherry sauce.
So mango on bottom of loaf pan and strawberry on top. Slice and serve either in bed of sauce or w sauce on top
