Why didnt Bauer Financial predict and downgrade bank ratings of banks that fell?

Trouble didnt happen overnight.

What are their star ratings worth if Signature had 4/5 stars (4 or 5 out of 5 is an amazing rating according to Bauer Financial) the week they fell?

It's important to understand what composite rating indices are based on. ie. Which particular characteristics or metrics.

If one understands that index's bases, then they can appreciate the rating for what it is.

Did anyone's rating predict trouble with fallen banks??????

If not, theyre all worthless.

I think that's a little extreme. One has to use indices and ratings understanding how they are calculated and what they can and can't indicate. They may still have worth and use even if they don't predict certain aberrations.

I got my answer thanks to Google:

For nearly 2 months, a short seller was warning on Twitter that Silicon Valley Bank was about to blow up. ‘It was sitting there in plain sight.’

If Bauer didnt downgrade their ratings of the fallen banks, and all banks connected to it, they werent being conscientious and honest.

I know of at least one business that had an idea of where this was heading and was able to get their money out of SVB in time.

I heard they were advised by their investors to pull out. Probably someone like in the article you linked to above.

Most of these are owned and paid to predict whatever benefits the hedge funds and bankers.

Yes and everyone thought I'm crazy.
This is just the beginning.
H' should watch over all of us and may no one go hungry or homeless.

Whatever level of hishtadlus you think you need to do please do.

Everyone laughed at me 2 yrs ago when I worried about hyperinflation. Look where we are now. Stock up on groceries and toiletries before they get more expensive.

Do you see any way out? Are there steps individuals, companies, or the government can take to prevent the doomsday scenario you predict?

Nothing. I've been reading stuff from brilliant people. So far everything I've read since 2yrs ago has been true. All of this has been accurately predicted.

Credit suisse is in over its head due to swaps. They've been heading down this path for the last year already.
