I'd love to go shopping with my husband, and show him what I'm trying on. Problem is I think department stores like TJ Maxx, Macy's etc. don't allow men into women's dressing rooms. Any way around that? Thanks.

Have him wait in the hallway outside. Try it on and come out to show him.

Bring a shell with you in your purse to try on under clothes.

I wouldn't feel comfortable trying on clothes if I knew there are men in the fitting room area. I'm glad its separte.

Why does your husband need to see it?
Just buy it if its flattering on you

I dont ask my DH opinion on my clothing. I dress very stylish and he never complains. Is that a thing?

He can identify as a woman....
Half joking but in today's society that would be fine and be enough to get him into a women's fitting room (this doesn't take into account how uncomfortable the other shoppers may be).

You can also take a pic in the mirror and text it to him. Not the same as him seeing it in person and from all angles, but it can at least be enough to get a definite yes or no on many of the options.

yup - confirming primark allows both. I'm always scared to try on there because of that...

Good for you. My husband has a great sense of fashion and I’m poor at matching colors so I can identify with OP.

I’ve seen men waiting for girlfriends/wives in waiting rooms at various H&Ms.

there are co-ed fitting rooms in some stores but if not, why not just come to the entrance in whatever you are trying on? he can wait there.

A lot of the Jewish stores in my town have private appointment option where you pay and can bring your husband. I do that in the beginning of each season and buy my whole wardrobe at once and don't have the stress of needing to bring home to show him.

Why do you need to show it to him?

(I have no problem if it's because you want his opinion, but the way you wrote this, it sound like he needs to approve of your clothes? I hope I read into it wrong.)
