What do you consider a reasonable price for an item of clothes for a toddler, ex leggings, t shirt, romper?

Looking for what you would spend on average

We target $5 per outfit for baby and toddler. So a dress or footy pajama can be $5, but a shirt or pants should be $2-3. I'll spend a little more on something like a sweater that can be used for multiple outfits.
I shop at Target, Walmart, Carter's, try to shop sales, and other sites on sale, as well.

Wow I'm impressed! You're really frugal!

How do you find things at $2-3? The best I can usually do is $4-5.

Only things IME that are $2-3 are very holiday themed after the season, with pumpkins, turkeys, candy canes etc

I haven’t seen those prices in a long time. Even on clearance.

Average is $10-20 a piece in department stores 20-40 Jewish stores. I am careful to only buy what you really love, cotton, and fits well. I don’t buy a lot max 8 weekday 3 shabbbos.

Did some options disappear OP? Because the range is a lot bigger than just until $25 an outfit. Jewish stores charge a whole lot more than that for most things.

Most of my outfits are free. Hand-me-downs from my siblings. BH because I don’t have any extra money.

It was supposed to have an option "more than $25" but I forgot to hit include before I posted.

Also I'm looking for price per separate, not per outfit.

Leggings I'll try to find for around $5. Tops I'll spend $10-15. I don't generally buy graphic tees (which is usually the cheapest top).

I’m would love to spend less, but realistically I am finding that I spend average $15 per piece and 25-30 if it’s an outfit.

Mostly multipacks. So three onesies, 4 pants, 4 tshirts, 2 dresses, etc. Or a pack that's two outfits together. I do a lot of combing through clearance. All online, because I live abroad. When I shopped for new baby, I loaded up my cart, and waited for a big sale.

I voted 20-25 because I would spend up $40 on a weekday sweatshirt or t-shirt and up to $100 for a complete shabbos outfit but I do get a lot of hand-me-downs so I usually don't get more than 2-3 new outfits per season

This. More on outerwear and shabbos clothes. Try to get on sale because they look cute in everything anyway.

About $8 a weekday outfit, either a one piece, or shirt and pants for $4 each
I can find these prices.
Target frequently has 20% off on baby clothing.

Me too. 20% off $5 is $4 and that’s the best I usually get.

Prices have shot up, but I can generally get leggings at target or children's place for $4-5, t-shirts for $4-5, dresses for $8-10, PJs are around $8-10 a pair.
Shabbos clothes I'll spend up to $20 a dress.
I rarely shop Jewish stores, and I'm a huge fan of once upon a child- I often find frum brands there.

About five dollars each. But that’s because I’m picky. I often see for three dollars but I don’t like it or it has a non kosher animAl.
I get about seven outfits so I can do laundry once a week with one outfit to spare.
