I was thinking to switch to stockings (nude) for Y"T but keep the black tights for Chol hamoed, what is everyone else doing?

You can totally go either way.
I personally prefer black so I hold out as long as possible before switching to nude. Especially if the weather is cool over pesach..

I stay in black for as long as possible. I usually change around shavous time when it gets warm

I wear nude all year round if it looks better with the outfit. If your yuntif clothes will look nice with nude and you’re not going to be miserable, I say go for it.

I switch sometime around lag ba'omer. Never on pesach unless I'm down in Florida.
