I can't seem to find any black shorts or long stuff in black for my 4 yr old boy.
I need something comfy/practical for Friday night but not a pjs, as I usually have my kids up Friday night meal, I go out to meals sometimes too, and he sometimes goes to shul. ( preferably a knit top with leggings kinda thing - something that if he falls asleep in its comfy enough to not change him.....)

Does it need to be black?
At that age leggings is pj's so may as well buy fancy pj's. Otherwise any thin knit sweater with comfy shorts should be comfortable enough for sleeping.

I want preferably black. It's just for Friday night. In the morning I dress him in fresh colors.
I need such thin knot tops to pair with legging. short and long.

Children's place ponte kint from girls section would work for long pants. It's soft enough to sleep in, dressed enough for casual shabbos.
Not sure about the top. Maybe check H and m?

I think you're looking for a boys version of a shabbos robe, haven't seen them in years. I don't think you'll find. I'd just go with a basic solid crew sweater & pants.

I'm coming back to help those that were following and need something.
I found this and I think it serves the purpose. I could pair it with long or short legging depending on weather.

Pastel has. You can also get knit pants from lilegs or children’s place with any comfy sweater. My boys always sleep in their shabbos clothes.

Designer spot had a great outfit a couple years ago. Velour pants and chenille striped top. Maybe they have something like that again.
Personally at that age of he’s toilet trained I would only put him on real pants or PJs
