1) you are undernourished. You are deficient in some nutrients.
2) you are sleep deprived.
3) you are surrounded by addictive foods like sugar and salt
4) hormones
5) sensory seeking - which could be satisfied by chewing gum, raw carrots, or apples
6) you're actually thirsty
7) you're bored

It might be a good idea to go to a doctor and get blood work done. A hormonal imbalance or high blood sugar can cause you to feel constantly hungry.

you mention nothing of your activities and food intake. maybe you're inadequately fueling your body. ask a registered dietitian, someone with real and appropriate credentials

Food addiction is real and neurobiological. Thinking about food is included in the presentation, not just eating. What it's not is a moral flaw.
There are so many possible root causes. Gut health is a good place to start.
