We are a family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. I am finding so much of my paycheck is going to groceries.
I can easily spend 300 per week. Is this normal?
Any tips to cut down?

With today's rising food costs, yes.

I try serving pareve for supper a few times a week.

I also try to stock up on non perishables at Walmart. When I have time I try to go to Aldi for fruits and vegetables.

This is really location dependent. For example, in Miami kosher food prices are much higher than in Brooklyn or Lakewood.

2 adults, one baby in Lakewood. We average $700 a month, not including formula. We shop at Walmart, target, Aldi, Trader Joe’s etc for most things and only get chalav yisrael stuff, meats and fish, and paper goods from Jewish stores. You’d think it would be lower!

U can prob cut it down to 200 a week by buying meet on sale moishas in family packs then dividing it and freezing for a few nights. Also planning ur suppers based on what's on sale that week..and not buying prepared food or expensive freezer stuff like pizza, kishke, knishes, etc. Do you have wic?

2 adults 2 kids. OOT
Easily 300 a week. I am not careful with what I buy and buying things on sale. But I do not buy frozen/prepared foods. Just regular fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, chicken, pantry items. And I shop at Walmart mostly. And local kosher store for milk/meat items.
